Seki Mini Scissors
These mini scissors were created by Hasegawa Cutlery, a manufacturer of edged tools established in 1933 and located in Seki, Gifu Prefecture, Japan's foremost cutlery-making town. Despite their small size, these cuties have great cutting ability.
The small silk tassels are carefully handmade by Imasato, a specialist in tassels and knots founded in 1907 and located in Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture. For over 100 years, Imasato has been making tassels for Yame Chochin paper lanterns, which are a traditional handicraft. Imasato creates beautiful tassels that shine with subtle, artisanal skill.
The cases for these scissors are made from high-quality, genuine leather. Even when placed in a pencil case, purse, or drawstring pouch, they can be stored compactly, making them convenient for carrying.

We currently only ship to the US, via USPS. Rates are based on pre-tax order totals:
- up to $30: $6.5 for Ground Advantage or $10 for Priority Mail
- $30.01 to $199.99: $10 for Priority Mail
- $200 and up: free for Priority Mail
You have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return of eligible items. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
YARN: Unused yarn in its original condition may be returned. Yarn that has been used or wound from a skein cannot be returned.
TOOLS; PATTERNS; BOOKS & MAGAZINES: These items cannot be returned but may be replaced within 30 days of receipt if defective.
EVERYTHING ELSE: Anything that isn’t yarn, a tool, a pattern, a book, or a magazine may be returned for store credit if purchased at full price, is unused, and is accompanied by a receipt. If it looks like it has been used, it cannot be returned.
