Interchangeable Whorl Drop Spindles + Bobbins
This drop spindle is a pocket sized travel spindle with interchangeable whorls and bobbins. Each spindle comes with two whorls (small and large) and three bobbins. Individual bobbins are also available for purchase.
The hook is formed by hand from brass and is easy to adjust to your preference. The shaft and whorls are 3D printed from PLA bioplastic and assembled by hand.
- Without bobbins, spindles comfortably fit 20-50g of singles and 30-40g of plied yarn; bobbins hold about 19g of singles.
- The spindle shaft is 7.5" long (including the brass hook) and weigh 8.5g.
- The small whorl is 1.5" in diameter and weighs 8.7g and the large whorl is 2" in diameter and weighs 15g.
- Bobbins are 1.25" in diameter on the top and are 3" long and use friction to fit to the spindle shaft.

We currently only ship to the US, via USPS. Rates are based on pre-tax order totals:
- up to $30: $6.5 for Ground Advantage or $10 for Priority Mail
- $30.01 to $199.99: $10 for Priority Mail
- $200 and up: free for Priority Mail
You have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return of eligible items. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
YARN: Unused yarn in its original condition may be returned. Yarn that has been used or wound from a skein cannot be returned.
TOOLS; PATTERNS; BOOKS & MAGAZINES: These items cannot be returned but may be replaced within 30 days of receipt if defective.
EVERYTHING ELSE: Anything that isn’t yarn, a tool, a pattern, a book, or a magazine may be returned for store credit if purchased at full price, is unused, and is accompanied by a receipt. If it looks like it has been used, it cannot be returned.
